Governance in Catholic Schools

Training sessions exploring four core roles of Foundation Governors in:

Representing our Bishop as keepers of the Catholic vision
Ensuring the quality of Curriculum RE
Understanding and preparing for Section 48 Inspections
Encouraging the vibrancy and wellbeing of their school community
Each session runs from 6.00 – 8.00 pm at a number of venues across the diocese.

They are hosted by Angela Hill (Head of St Catherine’s CPS, Penrith) Anthony McNamara (Former head of St Augustine’s CHS, Billington) and Fran Wygladala (Head of St Kentigern’s CPS, Blackpool) who are experienced Local Leaders of Diocesan Education.
