Last year, the school become a founding member of the new Mater Ecclesiae Catholic Multi Academy Trust within Lancaster Diocese and as such will play a significant role in the development of the Trust as more schools are join our family of schools. Whilst this position is for Headteacher at St. Teresa’s, the Mater Ecclesiae Trust will be the employer.

Since 2015 the school has been led by an experienced and successful Headteacher who has recently retired. The school has a strong leadership team, who work alongside an enthusiastic team of capable teachers. They are supported by a large team of dedicated support staff and a committed and able governing body.

We are looking for a dynamic Headteacher who will promote high standards, role model good teaching and learning and be a strong team player; whilst at the same time preserving the integrity of our Catholic ethos which has always had the welfare and happiness of our pupils and staff at its heart.
