The Governors of St John’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an inspirational, motivated, enthusiastic and organised Deputy Headteacher who will work alongside the Headteacher. The person appointed will contribute to the further development of the school and our aim to continue to provide outstanding education within a Catholic setting. In July 2013, Ofsted judged our school to be outstanding in all areas and in November 2013, the Diocese of Lancaster recognised us as an outstanding Catholic School in its inspection.

-be an active role model in supporting and contributing to the school’s strong Catholic ethos.
-work in close partnership with the Headteacher and leadership team to provide strategic direction for the school.
-continue to promote our strong educational philosophy and values.
-be an outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations of children’s learning and behaviour.
-show commitment to working in partnership with Governors, parents, parish and community.
-inspire, lead and support colleagues and pupils.

In return we can offer you:
-a Governing Body dedicated to supporting the school.
-a supportive, enthusiastic and hard-working team.
-happy, well behaved children who enjoy learning.
-an attractive and inspiring learning environment with quality resources.
-a commitment to Continued Professional Development.
